LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) was an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his home town from Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media for his potential as an NBA superstar. A prep-to-pro, he was chosen for the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. Following his selection as 2004's NBA Rookie of the Year, he soon became a top player within the NBA winning the NBA's MVP award both in 2009 and 2010 James, who did not be crowned the champion at Cleveland in 2010 quit as a free-agent and joined in the Miami Heat.
