Mary Louise Parker was featured in two episodes from the Showtime series Weeds. She has been known for playing Judy Kramer on Fox's 2005 Point Pleasant series and Marcy on Dawson's Run. Her three-year stint in the role of Marina Cooper, in Guiding Light's soap opera earned her nominations to the Soap Opera Digest Awards 2003 in the Outstanding Newcomer category. Dollar appeared as Cindy Thomas in the ABC show Women's Murder Club from 2007-2008. Dollar was the lead character in Happy Valley in the 2012 NBC Pilot that did not get taken on.
